Addressing the three public meetings in Telangana on Monday, Rahul Gandhi said KCR and Modi were similar in their attitude. They try to benefit few people and in return the ‘beneficiaries’ invest in the 'markets' of KCR and Modi. They would give bribes to Modi and KCR by spending part of their ill-gotten money. Modi has come to power stating that he would be chowkidar (watchman) of the country but ended up as chor (thief ). On the other hand, the Congress party if voted to power would give 33 per cent reservation to women in Parliament and Assembly and would empower them politically and economically. Modi said that the Centre wanted the Hyderabad Metro Rail project should also expand to Old City at a faster pace like Delhi Metro. However, the AIMIM has become a big speed breaker. Asked about Congress's Delhi unit president Sheila Dikshit's remarks that Arvind Kejriwal never approached her for an alliance, the Chief Minister said, "We have met Rahul Gandhi. Sheila Dikshit is not that important leader." Kejriwal has been urging the Congress to stitch an alliance in Delhi for the Lok Sabha polls to keep the BJP away from power. Leaders in the Delhi unit of the Congress were divided over the issue of alliance with Dikshit and her three working presidents opposing it, party sources had said. A top source in the party had recently said that chances of alliance were "slim" considering its long-term repercussions in Delhi. "The biggest question is how will Congress face the AAP in Assembly elections due in 2020 after the tie-up. Also, the party does not gain much politically as it is being offered only 2-3 seats by Kejriwal," the source had said. hurt in the operation Srinagar: Four Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists have been killed in an anti-terror operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. Ramagundam: Continuing his tirade against Congress and BJP, Chief Minister and TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao on Monday said that the country was facing a lot of problems because of the rule by these ‘sannasulu’ (inept) and hence there is a need to bring a qualitative change in the country. Addressing an election rally in Ramagundam for the Peddapalli Lok Sabha constituency, Chandrashekar Rao targeted the Congress and BJP leaders for not using available resources for developing the country. “Both these party leaders are fighting by raising their sleeves... why? They want us to get confused. Who ruled this country? The Congress and BJP have ruled for many years, there were some others, but these two parties did not allow them to work. This ‘sannasi’ will go and that ‘sannasi’ will come. Only the names of the scheme change from Gandhi to Deen Dayal. They did not use the resources because they are ‘dad- dammalu’ (idiots),” said Chandrashekar Rao. The chief minister targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again asking him what he has done during the last five years. “What work he has done for Dalits and STs. We requested with Assembly resolution urging them to remove income tax on coal mine workers but they did not listen. They will not do because they have ego as they think anyhow people will vote either of them. Why the Prime Minister has problems with jyothisyam (astrology),” he asked. KCR said that someone had to challenge these two parties and he decided to take on the national parties. “I can be in power for next five years and keep quiet After polls, KCR to connect with people Ramagundam: After the Lok Sabha elections, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will be visiting districts to hold ‘Praja Darbar’ to solve the problems of people. After elections, I will be in districts for two to three days... will meet people by holding Praja Darbar in villages. I will also come to Godavarikhani and listen to your problems,” said KCR. KCR said that there will be changes in the revenue law and asked the farmers not to have any land dealings till June. “Few are saying that I am going against Revenue employees. It is not true. I am not a person to cause loss to anyone,” said KCR. by continuing but someone had to take the initiative. If I had kept quiet for the cause of separate state, Telangana would not have been possible,” said KCR. KCR said that the country should have intelligent leaders for generating more income. The tax payers are evading taxes when they are asked to pay 30 per cent of their tax and governments in the country bring voluntary disclosure scheme asking them to disclose their 70 per cent income. Indonesia brought the tax rate to 4 per cent and generated Rs 24 lakh crore. Similar step should be taken by the intelligent governments. He also said that about Rs 28-lakh crore are lying unused with RBI and Maharatna companies. This money should be used for the development, but these parties don’t have the ability to use them, he added. Even Modi’s Gujarat is not providing 24-hour power supply to the farmers. KCR said that fed up with the noise of the national parties, people were also not attending the meetings of Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi. ISRO puts Emisat, 28 foreign satellites into orbit ENABLES DRDO GET ELECTRONIC INTELLIGENCE CAPABILITY Sriharikota: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Monday put Emisat -- an electronic intelligence satellite for the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) -and 28 other foreign satellites into orbit in a copybook style. With Monday's launch, India has successfully put into orbit 297 foreign satellites to date. So far, Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) rocket has put into orbit nation's 46 satellites, including 10 satellites built by students from Indian universities. Notable aspects of this space mission are the flying of a new variant of PSLV, switching off and on the fourth stage engine couple of times and the use of the fourth stage as an orbital platform carrying three experimental payloads. After the successful launch, space agency's chairman K Sivan said: "Today the PSLV has successfully injected the ISRO-made Emisat satellite into its intended orbit and 28 customer satellites at a 504-km altitude. "The mission is special for the ISRO on many counts as it was the first time a PSLV rocket was launched with four strap-on motors; the mission has three different orbits ISRO's PSLV-C45 carrying EMISAT and 28 other satellites lifts off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota on Monday for the very first time; the fourth stage was made an orbital platform for experiments; and there was also a new team for the PSLV." Sivan said the industry contributed a lot for the building of the rocket and satellite. "Ninety-five per cent of the rocket hardware and 60-65 per cent of satellite components were fabricated by the industry," he said. At 9.27 am, the PSLV rocket standing at 44.5 metres tall and weighing 239 tonne with a oneway ticket, hurtled itself towards the skies. With the fierce orange flame at its tail lighting, the rocket slowly gathered speed and went up. Heeding to the demand of the public to view the rocket launch, Sivan said that a viewers' gallery was built and 1,200 people enjoyed spectacle. He said for the next mission about 5,000 people will be allowed to witness the launch. As regards future missions, Sivan said the next PSLV rocket will carry RISAT and it will be followed by another PSLV launch carrying Cartosat-3 satellite. India will also launch two more defence satellites sometime in July or August with its new rocket Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV).
