The conﬁdence among the Congress ranks stems from the fact that the situation in Telangana Rashtra Samiti is much worse. According to information, the Railways is seized of completing the formalities related to handing over the bridge since the state government had already paid Rs 12.5 crore. The AP Tourism Development Corporation (APT- Construction of the Havelock Bridge began on November 11, 1897. It was opened to rail traﬃc on August 30, 1900. Tiwari, also a Lok Sabha member, got into a scuffle with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers before the function started at the bridge, leading to the violence. BJP to appoint 100 women as ‘teen talaq pramukhs’ New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh BJP will soon be appointing about 100 women as ‘teen talaq pramukhs’ across the state to ensure rehabilitation of the victims and their children, a party leader said on Sunday. UP BJP minority wing secretary Nazia Alam, who will be the overall in-charge, said triple talaq pramukhs will be appointed for each of the 93 ‘organisational districts’ and six regional units of the saffron party in the state. “Educated women who have sound knowledge of Shariat and law and who can bring a social change in the lives of the victims of triple talaq will be appointed as pramukhs,” Alam said. “Each of the 93 organisational districts and six regional units will have a triple talaq pramukh and some of the victims are already working with us to eradicate this social evil,” she added.
