Medak: Commissioner of Police (CP) D Joel Davis directed officials to prepare an action plan in view of elections, at a review meeting in the commissionerate on Wednesday. The other instructions included: fool proof conduct of written test for constable posts on September 30; severe action against petty case offenders; execution of pending non-bailable warrants and encourage people’s participation in ‘Nenu Saitham’ programme that meant for installation of community CCTV cameras and utilisation of S&T in investigation. He was speaking at District Consultation Committee (DCC) and District level review committee (DLRC) held in the Collector conference hall here on Wednesday. He urged bankers to maintain credit deposit ratio above 60 per cent. He expressed his unhappiness over delay in grounding of several government schemes intended to provide ﬁnancial assistance to economically backward classes despite selection of beneﬁciaries and release of subsidy amounts. He also appealed the agriculture officials and bankers to take responsibility of renewing agriculture loans. If bankers have any issues regarding loans to self help groups, bankers should bring to his notice, he said. LDM Mohan Reddy, RBI lead district officer Sridhar, NABARD district development manager Cicil Timothi, bankers, agriculture officer Narsimha Rao, welfare department officials Mothi, Babu Rao, Keshram and others participated in the meeting.
