The ‘Bonalu’ festival procession, along with dances by Potharaju, ‘Sivasathula Sandadi’, ‘naivedyam’ to Goddess Pochamma, was organised to mark the installation. Devotees performed special poojas to the deities. Hyderabad: The Met department bulletin has warned of thunderstorms with gusty winds likely to occur at isolated places in Sangareddy, Medak and Vikarabad districts, among others in the State on July 6. It said heavy rain is very likely at isolated places in the above districts during the day and on July 7. The rain is attributed to upper air cyclonic circulation over south Odisha and its neighbourhood now lies over interior Odisha. An upper air cyclonic circulation lies over north interior Karnataka and its neighbourhood. A trough runs from south interior Karnataka to Tamil Nadu. The day temperatures recorded in Medak and Hakimpet were 34 and 32 degrees Celsius respectively.
