The Minister participated in the distribution of land Patta Passbooks and crop investment support cheques under Rythu Bandhu Scheme at Burgupally village in Gajwel mandal of Siddipet district on Wednesday morning. In total, Rs. 42,96,000 worth cheques were distributed to the farmers of the village who welcomed the Minister with a grand fanfare including the bike and cultural rally along with the procession of Bathukammas, Bonalu, Peerilu, and other traditional cultures including artistes disguised in differ- ent animals. The Minister, who drove himself by the tractor to the venue and inaugurated the newly constructed Gram Panchayat Office at the village, pleased the villagers by announcing the sanctions of Rs. 30 lakh for CC roads, Muduraj and SC community halls, compound wall for cemetery with Rs. 10 lakh each and three ROB bridges and an assurance of 2BHK houses for homeless SC, BC families and a Youth library at the cost of Rs. 10 for each including resolving the disputed endowment land of 15 acre at the village with bus service. He advised the poor farmers to be wise and utilise the Rythu Bandhu cheques for the well start of the crops by sowing without going for loans.
