The court in this tourist city acquitted his Bollywood colleagues Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre and a local, Dushyant Singh, giving them the "beneﬁt of doubt" for the incident in October 1998. Besides attracting attention due to Salman's popularity, the case also caught the nation's imagination because it was the ﬁrst time that ﬁve actors were involved in one single case. "The accused is a popular actor whose deeds are followed by people. Despite this, the accused hunted two blackbucks," said Chief Judicial Magistrate Dev Kumar Khatri in his written judgment. The social media giant informed the Indian government on Thursday about the details of compromised accounts in response to a notice over the user data breach and details of the steps Facebook was taking to ensure safety and prevent misuse of personal data. Some 335 people in India were said to have installed the app, which is 0.1 per cent of its total worldwide installs. But this information is limited to people who installed the app throughout its lifetime on the Facebook platform -- from 2013 to December 2015 -- when it was suspended from the platform. Continued on P4 Amaravati: Amidst uncertainty over completion of Polavaram Irrigation Project in time in the wake of clash between TDP government and BJP-led NDA government, the state government has decided to commence the works of Polavaram Hydro Electric Project and set a 40-month deadline to for its completion. APGenco will conduct a kick off meeting on Friday to chalk out action plan for taking up the project works with all stakeholders. The 960 MW capacity of Polavaram hydel project was awarded to Navayuga Engineering Company Ltd for an amount of Rs 3,220.28 crore on EPC basis on December 12, 2017. The Navayuga will complete civil and all electro-mechanical works and AP Genco will take up the remaining works. The state government has to bear total estimated cost of Rs 4,956.39 crore on its own as the project was not included in AP Reorganisation Act. Rural Electriﬁcation Corporation (REC) has agreed to sanction a loan amount of Rs 3,000 crore to the hydel project.
