High-tech kitchen for mid-day meals inaugurated SATURDAY 31 MARCH 2018 HYDERABAD | PAGES 16 High-tech kitchen to provide mid-day meals to over 1,00,000 schoolchildren a day in the region Hyderabad: The Akshaya Patra Foundation, in partnership with Infosys Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Infosys, inaugurated a hightech mega centralised kitchen at Kandi, Sangareddy, in the state of Telangana on Friday. The inauguration was attended by Deputy Chief Minister & Education Minister, Telangana, Kadiyam Srihari and Infosys Foundation Chair- Telangana private teachers’ forum floated person, Sudha Murty. Infosys Foundation has covered the entire cost of constructing this state-of-the-art centralised kitchen by providing a grant of INR 18.50 crore.
