The sound and light show, which was named as ‘Adbhuta Rupavani’, was established by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in 2000 which cost the corporation Rs 3.5 crore. The latest technology available at that time was used to make the show attractive. The show resembled the one at Golconda and during the 50 minute duration the show used to depict the birth of Rayalavaru and his governance with a captivating voice and dramatic lighting. Visitors used to go to the fort to see that show in particular and the department organised two shows daily in Telugu and English. But it is all history as the shows were stopped two years back when power control room was completely drowned in rain water. Since then visitors were expressing their dissatisfaction over this and have been asking the officials to re-start the shows.
